Primitive Man

Chapter 95: Escape

One of the men, panting and struggling to keep up, piped up. "Amel, we had no choice! That creature was too powerful. We had to retreat."

Amel shot him an icy glare. "Retreat? Do you know how many of my carefully laid plans have been ruined because of this?" He kicked at the snow in frustration. "I should have stayed hidden for a few more days, bided my time until I could personally put an end to Garnt."

Another man spoke up, "But if you\'d waited even a little longer, Rona might have ended up pregnant with Garnt\'s child."

Amel\'s face twisted with anger and jealousy. "Don\'t you dare mention that name? Rona is nothing to me now. She made her choice when she sided with him and next time I meet, I would first kill that shitty Garnt in front of her. That unfaithful woman!"

He also looked at unconscious Moga and clicked his tongue. He was not fully confident about his choice after what happened and he started to put the blame on Moga.

\'Idiot! Despite knowing how hard it is to find against that thing, he went ahead and tried to attack it. Did I really make the right choice to help him?\'

As they continued their perilous journey through the unforgiving winter landscape, Amel couldn\'t help but seethe with frustration and regret. He was a villain on the run, hated by the woman he lusted, and now, he had to contend with these bumbling men who had unwittingly dragged him into this mess.

As Amel and Moga\'s men pressed on, hunger began to gnaw at them. Several of his followers collapsed in the snow, unconscious from exhaustion and the biting cold. Amel\'s anger flared at their incompetence, but he knew he couldn\'t go on alone. Surviving in this unforgiving landscape required the strength of numbers.

He scanned the horizon for shelter and spotted a cave not too far off, a faint, beckoning warmth emanating from its mouth. With a weary sigh, he guided his remaining men towards the cave\'s relative safety.

"Rest here," Amel ordered as they stumbled into the cave. He couldn\'t afford to lose more of his followers. Their lives were his insurance, even if they were proving to be rather ineffective.

"First, we should start a fire for warmth. This is the technique I learnt when I was in the village. It can bring the comfort of the sun." Amel tried rubbing two branches to create a fire, but most of them were wet from the snow. He cursed softly under his breath as his attempts to ignite a fire failed.

The cold seeped into the cave, the biting chill a constant reminder of his dire circumstances.

As they huddled in the cave, their stomachs empty and their spirits low, Amel\'s hatred towards Rona and Garnt grew. He thought of how they had thwarted his plans, how Rona had turned her back on him, and how Garnt had become the object of her affection. The bitterness and anger festered in him, fueling his determination to find a way to exact his revenge on the two who had brought him to this point.

"Damn it! Damn it! I\'m not going to die here. Please, my guardian, help me. Tell me how I can escape this situation," Amel finally began to plead with the voice he had heard in his head, which had been the winning factor in most of the cases during his betrayal.

[This is a tough situation, but do as I tell you and you will be fine.]

The voice started to give her instructions to Amel, and he finally managed to make some warmth without fire, but he knew things were only going to get tough from here.

[Don\'t worry, I will teach you how to do things, in exchange show me the results, and reach Garnt again. But this time more powerful than before. Show him that I\'m the superior guardian.]

"I\'m glad, I have someone supporting me in front of all these incompetent men. I\'m really glad," Amel voiced his satisfaction, but the voice didn\'t react instead she just scuffed like she was not happy with his kind words.

[Eva, it\'s all because of you that I had to rely on this human garbage, but that\'s exactly what I will use to show you my anger and my ability. Just wait and watch.]

The voice thought without relaying anything to Amel, and she was eagerly waiting to see Garnt sooner or later because she wanted to have a conversation with her most reliable senior, Dr Erika Schneider.

The chilly winds of autumn whispered through the Garnt\'s village, signalling the arrival of the cold season. People scurried about, collecting the last of the bountiful harvest and storing it in their homes. They carefully stacked dry firewood, essential for surviving the frigid winter that loomed on the horizon. The village was alive with activity, as everyone prepared for the harsh months to come.

"This season is called winter, and you farmers play the most important role during this period," Garnt muttered, as he looked at the few families that were specializing in farming.

Garnt had spent the day meeting with fellow farmers, discussing plans for the approaching season. The discussions were filled with stories of previous winters and tales of survival. As he made his way back to his house, he felt the weight of responsibility pressing down on his shoulders. He knew the importance of being well-prepared.

"I won\'t let anyone feel hunger during this season, since it is my duty as the village leader," Hearing his words, Eva released a proud noise.

[That\'s my boy! But you shouldn\'t overwork. Ask for help from others and distribute your work to others.]

She gave some advice to Garnt, who was walking in the direction of his house to take a little nap, since he felt rather tired after a long day.

Upon entering his humble abode, Garnt was greeted by a rather confusing sight.

Ganna sat inside with a warm smile on her face. She\'d been acting differently since the day Garnt had saved her from a dark path, preventing her from ending her own life. It was as if the incident had transformed her.

"Ganna, what\'s all this?" Garnt asked, genuinely curious about why she was inside his house again.

With a sparkle in her eyes, Ganna replied, "You saved me, Garnt, and I took your words to heart. You said I should be useful to you, and that\'s what I want to be. I\'ve decided to be your faithful assistant, just like a woman should be."

Garnt chuckled, deeply touched by her devotion. "You don\'t have to do this, Ganna. I appreciate your help, but you should create your own life, and find your own purpose."

Ganna\'s smile didn\'t waver. "Helping you is my purpose now. It\'s what keeps me going."

[She had been doing this for a while now. I think she is starting to act like a wife to you, other girls would be jealous.]

But before Garnt could react to those words, Ganna suddenly pulled him and started to remove his clothes and taking a wet cloth, she started to wipe his body removing all the dirt and sweat.

"Since it is cold, I made sure to have some hot water to wipe your body, it is rather hard to maintain the hotness, but I think I did a good job thanks to your teaching," Ganna muttered while wiping his back, and Garnt kept looking at her without knowing what to do with her.

He considered telling her to stop, to leave and find her own path in life. But then he remembered the darkness she had been pulled from, and the thought of her spiralling back into that abyss scared him.

\'I guess, I will let her do what she wants, after all, she is not harming anyone.\'

As Ganna diligently wiped his body clean, he couldn\'t help but appreciate her dedication. She had taken his words to heart, perhaps too much, but her sincerity was undeniable. He couldn\'t deny the allure of someone caring for him in such a way.

When she brought food, he decided to let her continue. He was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meal was, and he couldn\'t help but compliment her. Ganna blushed, her bashful smile reminding him of a young girl with a crush.

When he finished eating, she took the plate and headed outside to wash it. Garnt watched her, his thoughts in turmoil. While he still worried about her attachment and her well-being, he couldn\'t bring himself to push her away. Ganna was determined to be by his side, and he realized that this might be the safest place for her right now.

As she returned from the kitchen, he mustered a gentle smile and said, "Thank you, Ganna. You really have a talent for cooking. I appreciate your help today, and I\'m glad you\'re here."

But things didn\'t go as expected, since she suddenly started to remove her own clothes revealing her sexy body and then hugged Garnt from behind.

"Bath, food and now you need to have sex. Use my body and release all your lust, my master." She whispered those words, and Garnt quickly understood what she was doing.
