The Strongest Conquest System

Chapter 384: Gathering Of The Monster Overseer's

"We could\'ve just sent Venomspine and the rest of the younger Monster Ancestor\'s."

A deep and ancient voice reverberated through the hollowed layers of space that enveloped the area they were in.

Following the release of that voice, the other two figures turned toward the one who wore a spiked, crimson-colored crown atop his head.

"Yes. But they likely would\'ve just died upon coming into contact with the human invader," replied one of the two who were looking at the figure who spoke first.

The one who just responded was a Monster Overseer who went by the name of \'Grommash the Dark Marauder\', while the one who he was speaking to was a Monster Overseer who went by the name \'Vorkath the Nightstalker\'.

"I agree with Grommash on this one. Those younglings would\'ve died without a doubt if we sent them after that aberration," added the last Monster Overseer.

This Monster Overseer\'s name was \'Dragoth the Abyssal Lord\', and he was the youngest of the three, although not by much.

"I understand your points, but was it really necessary to use part of the Starry Qi we have in reserves on a mere Mahayana Realm cultivator?" Vorkath asked.

"I think it was the wisest choice, considering that we\'re unable to leave this space anymore due to our depleted lifespans," Grommash responded with an archaic voice.

"Grommash is right on this one. We should just cut our losses and put the matter concerning the aberration to the back of our minds, and instead focus our efforts on getting the Behemoth Abomination out of its slumber before the five year mark," Dragoth added.

"Brother Dragoth, you know that we have no way to speed up the process unless we leave seclusion, do you not?" Vorkath questioned.

"That may be the case, but we still have the life essence of the Monster Ancestor\'s to lean on," Dragoth replied.

"??" "??"

The other two Monster Overseer\'s were slightly surprised by the viscous actions Dragoth was proposing they take.

He was speaking about killing the Monster Ancestor\'s, who were the last generation of Monster Emperor\'s and were meant to be the pioneers of a new world!

They were meant to be the ones to succeed them and become the next Monster Overseer\'s as they traveled to a new planet!

And just as they were about to speak up against this suggestion made by Dragoth, he spoke first:

"Regardless of the cost, even if we have to sacrifice part of our race, we must leave this planet before the five-year mark," he said with a grave tone.

"What has changed your mind so much, Dragoth?" Grommash inquired with a raised brow.

There must be something that had changed Dragoth\'s mind on the subject; however, neither he nor Vorkath knew what that something was.

However, their quandaries were soon answered, as Dragoth replied, "According to the prophets, the void worms have sped up their approach toward our planet... We won\'t be able to escape in time if we don\'t leave within the next four years, and even that is stretching it."

"..." "..."

A hush fell over the iridescent spiral construct after Dragoth\'s voice reverberated out.

Both Grommash and Vorkath were unaware of this information, but they had known Dragoth for many years, and they knew that he was not one to lie.

So in response to this discovery, Grommash said, "This means a change in everything we have planned"

"Yes. What are we to do now?" Vorkath asked with a crackly tone.

"Don\'t fret, brothers, for there is another piece of news that could mean our breakthroughs into the Lunar Ascendancy Realm," Dragoth said with a small, toothy grin.

"???" "???"

It had been an extremely long time since Grommash and Vorkath had heard anyone tell them that they could break through.

In fact, they had already given up on the idea of breaking through the shackles that restricted them as they waited for their eventual deaths to come.

After tens of thousands of years of life, one became numb to bad news, and they wouldn\'t be surprised if Dragoth turned back on his words and told them something else terrible.

But surprisingly, he flipped their expectations on their heads as he said, "The more \'loyal\' rulers of the nearby Cosmic Asteroids had informed me of a certain cosmic event happening a few light years out from Asterion."

"T-This is!" Both Grommash and Vorkath muttered.

"A cosmic event is going to be close by!?" Grommash exclaimed.

"How can this be!? We were told by the last Cosmic Rulers that there would be no more Cosmic Events for the next tens of thousands of years!!" Vorkath shouted with a shaky voice.

They were both freaking out upon hearing the news, and for good reason! After all, a Cosmic Event was essentially a sure-way ticket for a cultivator to delve into the secrets of the Lunar Ascendancy Realm!

Furthermore, if one were lucky enough and encountered a Cosmic Event at the Asteroid level and above, then one would have a chance of advancing straight from the Lunar Ascendancy Realm into the Comet\'s Passage Realm, and maybe even the Meteor Shower Realm!

"So, you\'re saying that we have a chance of breaking through!?" Varkath asked.

"Yes, that\'s exactly what I\'m saying, brother Varkath," Dragoth replied with a wide grin.

Grommash and Varkath weren\'t the only ones elated over the discovery of a Cosmic Event happening so \'close\' by, as Dragoth had only learned of this information himself a few hours ago.

That was all to say that the Iridescent spiral structure was filled with a never-before-seen joyous aura, as all three Monster Overseer\'s couldn\'t wait to go out and encounter this \'Cosmic Event\' themselves!

However, the jubilant aura pervading the iridescent structure quickly died down when Grommash recalled something that could be the determining factor in this revelation.

He found his voice as he asked, "But what will we do about the Void Worms? Won\'t they be on our way to the Cosmic Event?"
