I Was Caught up in a Hero Summoning, but That World Is at Peace

Chapter 1635: Unexpected Invitation ②

Chapter 1635: Unexpected Invitation ②

After all, at the times when I was summoned on short notice like this…… I often find myself facing quite unreasonable or downright absurd requests.

[……Well, in any case, hello, Shiro-san.]

[Welcome, Kaito-san. I’m glad you came.]

[Putting aside whether I came or made to come…… So, what’s the matter this time?]

I thought it was quite unnecessary to forcibly summon me, but considering it’s Shiro-san we’re talking about here, I can understand the situation just fine.

What I’m curious about though is Shiro-san’s circumstances…… This may just be self-proclaimed, but I pride myself on being more attuned to the subtleties of Shiro-san’s emotions than anyone else in this world. Through my assessment, Shiro-san’s mood isn’t bad, and in fact, you could say she’s in quite a good mood.

At least, it seems that she hadn’t called me here because she was dissatisfied or sulking about something.

[Knowing about me better than anyone else in the world, so much so that you know about my everything…… Fufu, as to be expected of my lover. Such a bold thought you have there.]

[No, I hadn’t said…… thought that far but…… Well, if you’re happy with that, then so be it.]

I don’t really know why, but Shiro-san is in a good mood. However, that just amps the danger levels to yellow. While there are times when she’s simply in a good mood, there’s also a fair chance that she’d bring up some strange suggestions.

[Now then, about the subject of the matter…… Kaito-san, let’s go around Hydra Kingdom’s Founding Festival together.]

[……Eh? N- No, umm…… I’m planning to go around with Alice though?]

In response to the words she confidently said, while feeling slightly bewildered, I answered. Putting aside the potential commotion that would occur with Shiro-san coming to the Founding Festival, the most crucial point is that I’ve already promised to go there with Alice.

Shiro-san is at least considerate of such matters. She wouldn’t try to force me to change a schedule that had already been set.

In that case, if I were to interpret her invitation, she probably isn’t talking about the three of us, Alice, Shiro-san and I, going around together. In fact, I think Alice would likely strongly dislike the situation turning out that way. Even if she doesn’t look that way, she’s someone with a decent way of thinking, who properly looks at social etiquette, which could likely end up her having to support Shiro-san……

And as for whether Shiro-san would desire that outcome, the answer is probably no. If this were a promise for Kuro and me to go around with just the two of us, this may turn out into that “Just Kuro is unfair” scenario again, but with me going around with Alice, that scenario happening is highly unlikely.

That’s exactly why I was bewildered though, but while I was feeling that way, Shiro-san stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

[Yes, I have no intention of interfering with your date with Alice. I’m fine with going with you on “the second day of the Founding Festival”.]

[……What…… are you talking about?]

Whoa there, she started saying something strange again. I mean, depending on how you interpret those words, that statement could potentially devastate the stomachs of multiple people, you know? Second day of the Founding Festival? No, no…… If Shiro-san were to force her will through, that second day may actually take place, but that would just be unreasonable.

However, as if to say that she has already anticipated my reaction, Shiro-san smiles.

[There’s no problem. It’s not like they will be having a two-day Founding Festival.]

[……T- Then, what do you mean by that?]

[Kaito-san is aware of the concept of parallel worlds, right? I am making use of such a concept…… In other words, standing before this moment opens up two separate timelines for Kaito-san for the same Founding Festival: one where “Kaito-san goes with Alice” and another where “Kaito-san goes with me”. By continuously sharing only your consciousness between the two timelines, Kaito-san can effectively experience the Founding Festival in two different ways, even though it’s just one day in reality.]

[……………………]

This God has thought up something outrageous. She’s seriously making full use of her omnipotent power. In other words, even though it will only be for one day for the public, after experiencing the Founding Festival with Alice, I’ll go through the Founding Festival again in the scenario where I go around with Shiro-san.

Most likely, the timeline that would really apply in reality was my initial experience of going around with Alice, but Shiro-san and I will retain memories of our experience going around together in the Founding Festival…… I think.

[With this SUPER WIN system, it becomes possible to multiply one-day events like Christmas in Kaito-san’s world by the number of Kaito-san’s lovers, making it a groundbreaking system.]

[……I…… I see……]

The scale of what an almost omnipotent God can do really is beyond imagination, and my tsukkomis couldn’t catch up at all. Also, this SUPER WIN system she mentioned…… It feels like something my other lovers, starting with Kuro, would likely agree, and for me, there’s also the benefit of not having to worry about whom to spend seasonal events with.

The disadvantage is that I would have to repeat the same event with the same number of lovers I have, so I don’t really want this system to be used very often if possible……

<Afterword>

Serious-senpai : [She seriously created a nightmare-like system!?]

? ? ? : [Hahh!? Don’t tell me…… The past Christmas and Valentine’s Day Special Chapters for each character were a foreshadowing of this system!?]

Serious-senpai : [Nah…… I don’t really think…… the Author had thought that far ahead……]
