Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 2266 - Queen Bee?

“Good! Very excellent!” Ying Huo plucked a leaf from Xian Xian and used its wing to inscribe the words ‘Li Tianming’s Tomb’ on it before sticking it into the pile of fragments.

Tianming’s vision had gone dark. Previously, it had been the pinkie and this time it was the ring finger. That finger began pricking in pain, as if there were countless invisible ants chewing on his albi. A green mark appeared on the same location on the outer wall of his ring finger’s albi.

Every albus had it.

“This finger is now the same as the pinky.” The marks combined to construct a formation. They were indeed very high level if they could shift to his fingers.

“Time to test if my caelum can enter! Will it be the same place as before or a new place?”

The last time, green stars had come together and formed a giant person!

Tianming took a deep breath, then used his black arm to overcome the locks in his finger. Only a sky plunderer could do that. “Although I’m not sure if those seniors that cultivated for over a thousand years can do it, Qi Qiling definitely can’t, even if she gets it.”

Once his hand opened the locks, Tianming’s caelum entered the green mark and arrived in a brand new world. It was still an endless starscape, filled with countless verdant green stars.

“Same as before?” Just as he was feeling doubtful, the green stars began to shine, then shrank, gathered, and fused together!

The universe became a person again. Even though it was just his caelum witnessing it, it was still a shocking sight. The green light landed on his body and dyed it green. The light was even more eye-piercing this time.

Tianming still found his throat dry, even though it was his second time seeing the giant. Such a massive, perfect divine body couldn’t be witnessed in the real world after all. The light began receding and the skin formed of stars turned into real flesh and blood. The body seemed perfectly crafted, with fair skin that looked like it would break at a touch and long and slender limbs on an exquisite figure.

Tianming could just imagine how beautiful her face would be. But unfortunately, her head remained a massive green sphere of stars without any facial features.

It was naturally strange to look at a star-headed human body.

“Senior!” It was inappropriate to look, so Tianming quickly reached out and covered his eyes to express his respect. However, his left palm faced outwards, so he could still see….

So far, everything had been the same for Tianming. “Am I going to fall into the valley again?” Just as he had some expectations, the giant raised her right hand.

“A ring!” Tianming noticed an ancient ring on her ring finger. Just then, there suddenly came a deafening sound from behind him, as if a massive army was charging toward him. Tianming turned and looked. "My god!"

Countless bee-headed people were rushing over toward the ring, attracted by its glow. They were all male and looked exactly the same as the bee-head people in the green giant’s skeleton.

“So many!” It looked like there was a green sea of them. When they reached the giant, they all knelt down before the ring as if they were worshiping a holy object.

“The queen bee?” That was the only guess Tianming could make. Although these bee-headed people had human bodies and skeletons, their behavior was too much like the societies of ants and bees. The bee-headed people filled Tianming’s entire vision; even he had an urge to kneel before the ring’s glow. He felt his brain heating up, as if his head wanted to expand and grow new hair.

“Will I turn into one of those bee-headed people?” Tianming felt his hair stand on end and quickly rubbed his face.

“Wonderful, my handsome face is still there.” He finally exhaled in relief.

The giant finally seemed to notice him. Her ring finger, with the ring on it, reached out and landed on his head.

The familiar feeling returned. Tianming felt like he had risen to the sky and entered the clouds, an incredible feeling. Every inch of his body, every organ and every bone, felt like it was smoking. Most importantly, whether it was his Imperial or Lifesbane Will, both experienced another rare explosive growth. All of the ‘Grand-Orient Swords’ and ‘Prime Towers’ in his albi became sharper and tougher, and their control of power improved!

A single tap had created an earth-shaking transformation.

Unfortunately, this uplifting experience ended just as fast as it had begun. One moment, Tianming was on cloud nine, and the next, he crashed back to the human world.

His caelum had returned. He opened his eyes and his vision was still black—he was still buried under the fragments. His astralforce surged and the useless fragments were sent flying.

“A walking dead!”

“Zombie!”

A menagerie of lifebound beasts all jumped around and loudly shrieked.

Tianming rolled his eyes, not bothering to engage. His next breakthrough was what was important.
