Chapter 880: There's Something I Didn't Tell You
At this moment, Connor naturally didn’t know that Harold and Sheldon were discussing how to deal with him.
He, along with Jaden, Tobias, Sabrina, and others, had a great time playing in the resort all day.
The entertainment facilities in this resort were very rich, so they didn’t return to their rooms until 10 o’clock at night.
Meanwhile, Sabrina went to the villa where Sadie and Yara were staying alone.
Because Sadie and Yara didn’t like Connor very much, they didn’t go out to play with him and the others.
Sheldon, Harold, and others were discussing how to deal with Connor in their room, so the two girls stayed in the room all day.
“What’s Harold up to? We finally came out to play, but we’re going back tomorrow. We didn’t go anywhere today. Isn’t that a waste of time?”
Yara received a message from Sheldon and was preparing to return to Porthampton tomorrow.
“Harold must have something important, that’s why he’s so anxious. We can come again next time!”
Sadie comforted lightly, but she seemed distracted.
“Hmph, I’m never coming out with you guys again. What’s the meaning of all this?”
Yara pouted and said unhappily.
“Yara, Sadie, what are you two talking about?”
At that moment, Sabrina walked up to them, smiling, and asked, “We didn’t talk about anything. Harold said we’re going back tomorrow morning, and we haven’t played anywhere yet. It’s such a waste of time.”
Yara replied helplessly.
“Going back tomorrow?”
After hearing this, Sabrina’s eyes flashed with surprise, then she hurriedly walked to Yara’s side and asked softly, “Why are you in such a hurry to go back?”
“I don’t know why, but he just said he wants to go back…”
Yara turned her head to look at Sabrina and said indifferently, “Sabrina, you’re not planning to stay here, right? Let me tell you, tomorrow you’re going back with us. I can’t leave you here to give that poor loser Connor a chance…”
“Yating, what nonsense are you talking about? Of course, I’m going back with you. After all, it’s a class reunion with Connor. It wouldn’t be right for me to stay here alone…”
Although Sabrina had the intention to stay, after hearing what Yara said, she felt embarrassed to stay.
“Oh, by the way, I made a deal with Connor. We were planning to go to Temple Of Spirits tomorrow, but it seems like we won’t be able to go now. I’m going to call Connor now!”
Sabrina took out her phone and was about to walk outside the villa.
“Sabrina, wait…”
Sadie called expressionlessly.
“Sadie, what’s the matter?”
She turned her head to look at Sabrina, her expression puzzled, and asked.
“I have something to ask you. Come with me!”
Sadie said in a serious tone, then walked directly towards her room.
She was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly followed Sadie into the room.
“Sadie, what’s the serious matter you want to ask me about?” Sabrina stood at the door, looking puzzled as she spoke to Sadie.
“Sabrina, do you know that Connor and the others have moved into the villa?” Sadie asked softly.
“I know.” Sabrina nodded gently.
“Did you arrange the villa for him and the others through Leroy?” Sadie continued to ask.
“How could I have such ability? How could I possibly know someone like Leroy?” Sabrina said helplessly.
“If it’s not related to you, then how do you explain the sudden change in Leroy’s attitude towards Connor and the others last night? How do you explain them moving into the villa today? These things are definitely not a coincidence. If it’s not related to you, then who is it related to?” Sadie’s tone seemed somewhat agitated as she exclaimed.
These questions had been bothering Sadie. She felt that these matters were definitely not as simple as she had thought.
If it was all because of her that Connor and the others received such treatment, Sadie could reluctantly accept it.
But now that these things had nothing to do with Sabrina, how could she explain them?
“Sadie, it seems like these things have nothing to do with us, right? Why are you suddenly asking about them?” She furrowed her brows and asked Sadie in a puzzled tone.
“Yes, these things indeed have nothing to do with us, but have you ever thought about the connection between these things and Connor? Could he be not as simple as we imagine? He might have been hiding his identity all along!” Sadie shouted with a hint of agitated in her voice.
“What does it have to do with him?” Sabrina’s eyes flashed with a hint of surprise, then she softly said to Sadie, “Sadie, there’s actually something I haven’t told you…”
“What is it?” Sadie paused for a moment, looking puzzled as she asked her.
“Do you remember this jade bracelet?” Sabrina took off the phoenix blood jade bracelet that Connor had given her from her wrist and asked softly.
“I don’t remember…” Sadie shook her head lightly.
“This jade bracelet was given to me by Connor. You all said it was fake, but my father had it appraised by experts, and it turned out to be a phoenix blood jade bracelet worth possibly over ten million…” Sabrina said slowly.
“Over ten million?” Sadie couldn’t help but gasp when she heard this.
You should know that this “over ten million” was still Sabrina’s modest estimation. In fact, the price of this jade bracelet was at least fifty million or more, and it wasn’t something you could buy even if you were rich.
“How could he give you such a valuable jade bracelet? Where did this jade bracelet come from? Did he steal it?” Sadie looked at her with a puzzled expression.
“It seems like this jade bracelet was also given to Connor by someone else, but if he could give me such a valuable item, I feel like he should also be someone extraordinary, right? And…” Sabrina hesitated.
“And what?” Sadie hurriedly asked.
“And my father told me that if I had to choose between Harold and Connor, I should choose Connor…” Sabrina said shyly.
“Why?” Sadie became even more puzzled at this point.
“I don’t know why, but my father said that one hundred Harold can’t compare to one Connor!” Sabrina whispered.
“One hundred Harold can’t compare… to one Connor?” Sadie was dumbfounded upon hearing this sentence.
