Chaplain!

Chapter 1253: 1250

Upon hearing the news, Oliver Walker hurriedly rushed toward the living room!

When he saw the visitor, Oliver Harris immediately stood up, his eyes glowing with fervor, and said, “I’ve heard so much about the national advisor, and today I have the honor of meeting you. I am extremely fortunate!”

The Dragon Division was not a part of the military, but instead, belonged to the official pyramid authorities.

Although there had been quite a few collaborations with the military, there had indeed been very little interaction with Oliver Walker.

“You’re too kind!”

Oliver Walker waved his hand, “Please have a seat!”

Oliver Harris seemed incapable of smiling, but his standing up to greet him sufficiently showed his respect for Oliver Walker.

But just at that moment, a discordant voice rang out, “I originally thought that the national advisor, who was so hyped up, would have three heads and six arms. But unexpectedly, he’s just like us, with two shoulders carrying one head!”

The person speaking was full of arrogance!

He even looked at Oliver Walker with a sidelong glance, his arrogance reaching the extreme!

Oliver Walker’s brow furrowed slightly, but he said nothing.

After all, they were about to collaborate with the Dragon Division, and the person speaking was young; some arrogance could be considered normal.

Zooey’s beautiful eyes, however, flashed with anger!

It made the atmosphere in the living room instantly much colder!

“Jackson Green, that’s enough!”

Oliver Harris sharply reprimanded, “Apologize to the national advisor at once!”

He had anticipated this outcome, as the Dragon Division was the most mysterious entity in the pyramid.

Who among those serving in the Dragon Division wasn’t a prodigy?

For a hot-headed genius, the only way to make them submit was through the use of force.

“What did I say wrong?”

Jackson Green retorted proudly, “Commander, I can’t stand this humiliation!”

“The missions we carry out have always been problems the military couldn’t solve, so why should we now take orders from military command?”

The Dragon Division was already a very independent entity, and even if the upcoming mission required cooperation with the military, but…

It should be the military coordinating with them, not them obeying the military’s orders!

Oliver Harris’s face darkened, “You…”

He indeed hadn’t expected things to turn so awkward right at the start!

His own heart was naturally not at ease either.

So before coming to Eastern Ocean City, he had specifically researched Oliver Walker; he had to admit that becoming a national advisor was no mean feat.

Whether it was Oliver Walker’s own combat ability, his command over large army operations, or many other aspects, all had impressed him greatly.

But what he hadn’t anticipated was causing discontent among his subordinates!

“Hmph!”

Jackson Green swept a cold glance over Oliver Walker and then added, “It wouldn’t be impossible for me to follow his command, but he should at least display the strength required to make the brothers of the Dragon Division submit, right?”

He emphasized the words “Dragon Division” heavily.

Clearly, this was their pride!

“If you dare talk nonsense again, see how I deal with you when we get back!”

Oliver Harris threatened coldly; only then did Jackson Green obediently shut his mouth.

And he quickly continued with an apologetic tone, “Mr. Walker, I sincerely apologize for not managing my subordinate’s mouth properly!”

Oliver Walker smiled gracefully, “I completely understand that the more thorny a soldier is, the stronger their fighting capability is.”

He was not kidding!

Take the Imperial Guards, for example; was there any among them who weren’t difficult to handle?

Sometimes, soldiers who only know how to follow orders can only accomplish routine tasks.

So as far as commanders of special forces are concerned, they prefer soldiers with scattered thinking who like stirring things up.

If you can train these thorns properly, there’s no need to question their combat effectiveness!

His words seemed to ease the atmosphere by quite a bit.

Especially Oliver Harris, who said, “That’s exactly what I think too!”

Great minds think alike!

That’s the only way to put it!

But Jackson Green, who was labeled as a thorn, felt incredibly displeased, although he no longer spoke out of turn, his gaze was like a coiled viper…
