My CEO Husband Has Some Issues

Chapter 458: 458: Send Him a Message

He split up with Rong Yan at the elevator without worry and hurried off to start the car.

Rong Yan pressed the elevator button and returned to her luxurious apartment at Dihor Garden. She changed into a set of fresh denim jeans, a T-shirt, and canvas shoes. She casually put on a cap, and picked up the paper bag from the couch.

On her way, she wasn’t busy, so she called Little Baby to tell him that she couldn’t pick him up that day and asked him to be good at his grandmother’s house.

Although Little Baby sounded displeased about her cancellation on the phone, he seemed a bit guilty, probably because she had discovered his identity as the president of his fan club the day before, and he feared she would ask questions. He only showed a little unhappiness over the phone and didn’t even protest when Rong Yan mentioned she would pick him up the next day.

After hanging up the phone, Rong Yan left Dihor Garden and saw Gu Ming’s car.

She opened the passenger door, sat down, buckled her seatbelt, and said, “Assistant Gu, sorry for the wait.”

“Not at all, I just got out too.”

Looking at the time, it had been less than 10 minutes. She was fast; if it hadn’t been for his quick driving, it would probably have been him waiting for her instead.

“So, Miss Rong, shall we head out to Lin City?”

“Yes.”

Rong Yan closed the car door, adjusted the seat, and sent a message to Estelle that she would be temporarily out of Capital City. Then the car smoothly drove off.

This morning, she had already spent several hours standing in ten-inch heels, and now she had to sit for several more hours. Rong Yan’s waist and back were aching from the strain.

Guessing that they were nearing Lin City, she took out her phone and sent a message to someone, “Have you eaten yet?”

After the message was successfully sent, Rong Yan felt that just sending this was too dry. She thought for a moment and sent a cute emoticon as well.

The emoticon was made from a picture of Little Baby, and it was adorably cute.

It had a very high ‘cuteness’ factor.

Much cuter than those paid emoticons of adorable babies!

The emoticon with the text she Photoshopped was even cuter, flying off the cuteness scale.

However, Rong Yan didn’t hold much hope for Li Shengxiao to reply, guessing that he had probably only just arrived in Lin City and might be too busy to look at his phone. Surprisingly, her phone buzzed with a notification after just a few minutes.

Rong Yan immediately picked up her phone and saw the message.

It was from Li Shengxiao returning her message — “I’ve eaten.”

That was way too simple!

And she didn’t believe it at all!

While Rong Yan was thinking of how to reply, her phone buzzed again with another message from Li Shengxiao, “Get some rest early, don’t tire yourself out. If there’s anything, contact Gu Ming; his phone is on 24/7.”

He really left his right-hand man for her as a nanny.

Rong Yan stole a glance at the person focused on driving and quickly sent a message back, “What if I want to find you?”

The message was quickly sent.

Rong Yan glanced down at the beautifully wrapped paper bag beside her and sent another message, “You told me to contact Assistant Gu, aren’t you in Capital City?”
