My OP Minion System in the Apocalypse

Chapter 239 Categories

I knew that I had to create more minions before going into this battle and facing that great force. The settlement group I had sent was going to create a fort near the enemy\'s territory. They were going to make that fort further than the outpost and I would be near the city of the enemy. I had provided them with everything they needed, so they wouldn\'t have to depend on my resources. I had sent minions that would collect all the resources required and create the fort on the collected resources. They would prepare the fort for my arrival, and if we had to go into battle with this king, we would use that fort to strengthen our position.

I was thinking about a new type of battle strategy this time. I was going to divide my army into small groups, and the intelligence variants would lead them in battle. They had human-like thinking abilities built into their AI, which gave them an upper hand over all humans and minions. Following them would be the technique and brute force minions, and also archer, warrior minions, and swords play minions to fight alongside with them.

I called Chloe from her home, where she had been relaxing. She was feeling shy due to the incident that had happened, but I had forgotten about that in all the fuss that was going on. When she arrived, she was wearing a black gown that accentuated her beauty to another level. She approached me and stood at a distance, her gaze fixed on the ground. At first, I couldn\'t understand what was going on with her, but when I remembered the incident, I couldn\'t stop smiling. She looked very innocent at that moment, and if anyone saw her in this state, they couldn\'t have said she was a fierce warrior who could fight off groups of warriors alone. She had techniques to fight against my minions as well.

I controlled my smile and began a conversation with her. I called her here to get her opinion on my army and what I should do. Should I create more minions before going into the fight against the new king, or should I just go with the army I had sent as the settlement group? I wanted her opinion on this, and I began the conversation, eager to hear her thoughts.

"How are you? Have you had your lunch?" I started, trying to ease into the conversation and not startle her with difficult questions right away.

"I am good, and I had my lunch. Why did you call me here? I am not in the mood for training at the moment," she replied, her face displaying a hint of exhaustion. She had been trying to avoid me, not wanting to face or do anything that could lead to another mistake.

"No, I haven\'t called you here to train, but I want your opinion on something," I continued.

"I am listening," she said, her attention now focused on me.

"I have sent a large settlement group to an outpost. There is a king near one of our outposts, who has attacked my people and killed five of my archers. I didn\'t tell you about this because I didn\'t want you to worry. I sent an intelligence variant to find out more about this," I explained.

"Did that minion come back with information?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

"He came back with a lot of information. There are around 3000 people in that city, and among them, 1500 are warriors that will defend their city if attacked. You have seen our army; our combat minions are just over 1000, and they are stationed in different places. We will need more of them to fight in this battle, or we might lose," I told her, the gravity of the situation sinking in.

"It sounds like we are up against a bigger enemy this time, and we will have to take cautious steps in order to win this battle. You will definitely need more minions to be part of this battle," she said, her mind already analyzing the situation.

"I have a new plan for this battle. In this war, I will allow the intelligence variant to lead small groups of my armies. They possess AI with human-level intellect, and they are better commanders than any humans or minions. I will guide them along the way, but I want them to lead the small groups this time," I said, outlining my strategy.

"It\'s a good plan. If they perform well, then you can send them off to fight your battles while you stay in the city, and they collect resources for you," she suggested, her tactical mind already envisioning the possibilities.

"I had the same plan in my mind, minions leading minions into the battle without my need to guide them," I added, pleased with her suggestion.

"This will be best for our city\'s future," she agreed, her features displaying a sense of determination.

"I have 250 warrior minions right now. I am thinking about upgrading a few of those and creating new minions as well. I will make 120 brute force minions, 50 technique variants, and 10 intelligence variant minions," I concluded, my mind already set on the task ahead.
